Order a repeat prescription

If you take Medicine regularly, you will usually have a repeat prescription.

This means that you can order your medicine when you need it without having to see a GP.

You cannot order repeat prescriptions by phone. This is to protect patient safety.

Ways to order a repeat prescription

We no longer accept paper repeat prescription requests.

You can order your repeat prescription by using one of the methods listed on this page:

  • Order a repeat prescription using the NHS app or website
  • Order a repeat prescription using an online form
  • Order a repeat prescription using voice connect

Order using the NHS app or website

The NHS app is a quick way to access NHS services. Using the NHS app means you do not need to enter your personal details each time you contact the surgery. You can read more about the app on the NHS website.

You can use your NHS account to order a repeat prescription.

You will need the NHS app or your NHS account login details.

Order using an online form

You can order a repeat prescription using an online form.

We recommend only using this form if you do not have access to other online services like the NHS app.

You will need to provide the name of the medication and dosage.

Order a repeat prescription using voice connect

Voice connect allows you to order prescriptions over the phone.

You can watch this short video to learn how to order a prescription with voice connect.

You must register with the practice to use this service. Please contact the practice directly to sign up.

When using the service, you will need to supply:

  • Your date of birth
  • Your registered phone number
  • Your 6 digit pin number

Once registered, call the surgery and press 1

Nominating a pharmacy

When you order a prescription online, you can have your prescription sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice to collect your medication. This is called a nomination.

Medication reviews

If you take medicine regularly, you should check it is right at least once a year. This is called a 'medication review'. You should also arrange a review if you’re experiencing side effects from your medication.

To request a medication review, complete our online form or contact us.
